05.03 - Punk Planet, Issue #55 - by Art Ettinger

The Plains play lively pop, with minor twangs of punk and a fair amount of comedy thrown in for good measure. I recommend this to fans of The Pixies or to fans of REM's better albums.  It was recorded on eight-track reel-to-reel which lends it some extra classiness.
